- From the CR Airport, drive west to the main double lane Island Hwy. It’s the first traffic light you will come to. Turn left (North) onto the Highway.
- You will come down a hill (about 8 kms. From the airport intersection) and enter the North end of Campbell River. At the base of this him you will go through the first lighted intersection but turn left at the second light. You are now headed in a West direction.
- By now you should have seen a sign that directs you to Gold River (its straight ahead-due West, just keep going). Continue on the Hwy. To Gold River. You will pass Strathcona Park Lodge on your right, which is about ½ way to Gold River.
There is a turn off to your right about 10 minutes past Strathcona Park Lodge. A sign directs you to Gold River and Tahsis. You have about ½ hour drive to Gold River from the intersection/turn off at the large bridge that you will cross.
Stop at Gold River Payless and phone us. Leave a message if no one picks up the call.
- Signs at the main Gold River intersection will direct you to Tahsis. Again you are continuing to head west. You will soon be on a gravel logging road. Most of the 1.25 hr trip is on gravel. The road is usually in good shape. The speed limit is 60km/hr on gravel roads and there are place you will find this is completely appropriate.

- The Nesook (log) dump and Cougar Creek turn off
- Moutcha Bay RV grounds turn off
- Conuma Federal Government Fish Hatchery
- Three Sisters Waterfall (you’re 15 minutes away)
- Malaspina Lake
- The President’s Tree (you’re 7 minutes away)
Enter Tahsis and follow the road all around the head of the inlet to the other side. Pass Westview Marina and turn right onto Tipperary Drive. Keep to your right and you should be on Princess Victoria View. If end up on Resolution Drive, we are immediately below that road and it’s all one big circle anyway. It’s really not that complicated – it’s a very small subdivision. We have lots of flags and Nielsen’s Lodge signs out, so you can’t miss us!
